"They entered the house next to us, entered it through the window. We checked the house and heard the sound of small children inside the safe room. We fired at the safe room, until we didn't hear a sound" - in these horrifying words, terrorist Amer Abu Ghosheh, a fighter in Nukhba, Hamas' commando unit, describes how he took part in the massacres in the village of Gaza on October 7. On Wednesday evening, the Shin Bet published the statements from the documentation of the terrorist's interrogation.

On the massacre in the village of Gaza, 52 kibbutz residents were murdered, six were wounded, seven were kidnapped, and the fate of 13 missing is still unknown.
"Our mission was to kill. We weren't supposed to kidnap, just kill. Kill those who see, then come back. Our mission area was the village of Gaza," he said.
"We went through the first house. We checked it out and there was nothing in it. Hamza set the room on fire from outside. Then someone came out of the garden behind with a hose - Abu Ahmad and Hamza saw him, shot at him and killed him," the terrorist said. "We went to the other house. We shot at the windows and broke the glass. We checked the house and found no one inside. I set fire to the bedroom... We moved to the third house. There was a woman in it. Hamza killed her, he shot her."
