A spokesperson for the Kfar Yona municipality said: "There is a suspicion of an illegal alien moving in a black Skoda Superb or Mercedes with Carlo, towards the cities of the center with the intention of carrying out a shooting attack. Checkpoints were deployed by the Israel Police, and in Kfar Yona, the alert squad was deployed in coordination with the Israel Police and increased vigilance at the entrances to the city."

The police said: "A report was received that his credibility was being examined on a suspicious person in the area of the city of Taybeh.
