Ruth Peretz, 16, was laid to rest Sunday evening in the Safed cemetery. A month after the Iron Sword War broke out, the body of the girl with special needs who had come to the party was found alongside her father, Arik Peretz, who was also murdered at the party.
The case of Eric and Ruth became famous after the beginning of the war, as the father used to take his daughter with him to nature parties which she loved so much. On October 7, he managed to talk to his family until they lost contact.

Yamit Peretz, Ruth's sister, eulogized her: "My Ruthie, you have always lived inside me, in life and death, if I am asked who the Messiah is I will say sister. You taught me to love life. You only lacked wings and an angel aura, besides you had everything, you were one hundred percent pure. I had a sea of plans with you and my future father. You are the one who turns on the light in your eyes when everything is dark, and now that the light is off. Come to me in dreams."
Ruth's aunt, Arik's sister, in her eulogy: "The time has come for us to observe the holy Torah, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, it is time for us to avenge the blood of the people of Israel, I demand the death penalty for terrorists, Jewish blood is not lawless."
