An indictment was filed today (Sunday) against a Netanya resident for indecent acts he allegedly committed on a minor under the age of 16 who fled Sderot to Netanya following the war.
According to the indictment, the minor was evacuated from Sderot following the fighting in the south and lived in one of the hotels in the city located on the coastline.

The victim went for a walk with her dog and met the defendant who began a conversation with her while coaxing her to go to a secluded place, at which point the defendant began to develop conversations of a sexual nature and perform indecent acts on her despite knowing her exact age.
Finally, the victim managed to push the defendant away from her and fled the scene.
The detention of the defendant, a 32-year-old resident of Netanya, was extended in accordance with the needs of the investigation, and today, as stated, the Central District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against him for the alleged offense.
