On days like these, when the tendency is to stay at home as much as possible, and when many of the treatment and grooming places are closed or partially operating, one of the things that is more suitable for the period is the Epilady epilaser device, for permanent home hair removal.
We tested the device for about four months before forming an opinion on it. The concept looks perfect: hair removal at home, whenever we want, to whatever area we want. The price is expensive (NIS 3,770), but when you consider that the device stays with us forever, in the end it seems to be a saving.

Using a sophisticated and innovative optical system of image identification and processing, the device harnesses the power of four separate lasers to accurately damage individual hair follicles, continuously and quickly. The technology does not fire a pulse without it detecting hairs, so the power on each hair is higher and more efficient - pulses are not thrown in vain in areas without hairs.

The device is safe, portable (no power connection required), lightweight, works painlessly with a slight tingling. Its use ensures permanent hair reduction after about 12 weeks.
The device, as already mentioned, is portable, easy and convenient to use. When you turn it on, you can choose the laser strength you want, between level one and level three. We started with level one (for light skin and dark hair, which is considered ideal) and went up over the course of two weeks to level three.
The treatment is performed on hairs that are a millimeter high, a height that they reach a day or two after the first shave, depending on the area and hair type. We did treatments two to three times a week. Sometimes a tingling is felt, but it is completely passive. However, it should be taken into account that the device requires learning and experimentation. Understanding that only the small inner square is the one that "throws" the laser beams - leaving a smaller place that has been treated, that the device needs to be picked up at the end, wait a second and place in another area, what is the optimal shape for placing the device on the skin, checking and cleaning the vitreous and more. After about two weeks we were fully experienced and were able to perform each treatment in the best possible way.
The course of treatment
When the device is placed on an area where there are no hairs, a short beep is heard, which means "there is nothing here." The device needs to be picked up and placed on another area, where the laser is caught only on the hairs (sometimes you can smell a slightly burnt smell, which is normal). Quite a few times the device beeped once, but when we picked it up and put it back in the same place - it picked up hairs and took out pulses.
If it's a large body area, you need patience. The window is relatively small, which works well in areas inside, however treating a large area can take a long time.
We began to see results about 3 months after the first treatment, which were manifested by thinning of the growth and visible baldness. Unlike devices in treatment centers, where the results are faster and clearer, here you have to be patient and understand that in the first few months there will probably be no improvement. We estimate that after six to seven months the area will be smooth. The big advantage is that the laser is caught only on the hair itself, which leaves no signs of redness or marks at all in the area, even for especially sensitive skin - which when leaving hair removal salons is prone to redness, heat and swelling.
In conclusion: this is a treatment that requires patience, is more comfortable than treatment at the institute and also hurts less than it - but accordingly also less strong than it. For smaller areas it is perfect, and for larger areas - if you have patience and time.
