Two men, aged 19 and 45, sustained minor and critical injuries Monday night as a result of gunfire in Kiryat Ata. MDA medical teams that arrived at the scene evacuated the two to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. The police opened an investigation following the shooting.
Police were dispatched to the scene, began searching for the suspected shooters and opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
The background to the incident is apparently a conflict between criminals.
