The idol of an entire generation. Jacky, who worked in the "Club Dorothée" for ten years, is back with a new version of the 90s game. Twenty-six years after the end of the famous show, he unveils "The Great Game of the Club Dorothée Years" broadcast this Thursday, November 9 on Gulli at 21:05 p.m. He was invited on the set of "Buzz TV" to talk about the novelties of this new program but also to reminisce about the memories of more than thirty years ago.

For him, this return to the past was "very bizarre". "I was very moved. I felt like I was leaving Club Dorothée the day before," he said, adding that more than 20 years later, people continue to stop him in the street, recognizing him for his role as host on the show.
At the time, Jacques Jakubowicz, better known as Jacky, provided six hours of live coverage every Wednesday, and about thirty hours of entertainment each week. A frantic pace. And if the good memories are much more numerous than the unpleasant ones, one of them has remained in the back of the host's mind for all these years.
"He's a bit of a tease..."
And this worst memory is directly linked to Jean-Luc Azoulay, the programme's producer. "He's a bit of a tease and knew I hated getting on a boat. I wasn't seasick but I had a phobia of the sea. I was sweating and everything," the TV host began to recount. In this case, one of the shows was filmed in Martinique on a boat.
This is a blessing for the producer who asks, or even obliges, Jacky to come on board. As a great professional, the uncomfortable man went. He did, however, have one request: that a lot of text be prepared for him in order to avoid thinking. "In fact, he didn't write me anything at all. I had very little text, I felt bad and it made him laugh. [...] I don't give all the details, but it was my worst memory," Jacky recalled.
