A powerful explosion occurred a few minutes ago in the city of Eilat, near an elementary school in the city where students evacuated from the city of Sderot were studying.
The cause of the investigation is currently unknown, with some people nearby claiming to have heard "drone buzzes" in the moments before the explosion

The Israel Police update: "Eilat area police, including police saboteurs, are currently operating in the city of Eilat, following concerns about a security incident. Police forces are deployed and carry out roadblocks, directing vehicle traffic to alternate routes. The public is asked to refrain from attending and to obey police instructions.
