The impressive resourcefulness of a schoolgirl prevented a great tragedy.
A bus driver who picked up schoolgirls on the Yellow Hill, west of Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion, suffered a heart attack while driving. One of the students managed to stop the bus that was speeding on Route 60 from Neve Daniel, thus preventing a major tragedy.
All the passengers were safely disembarked and transferred to another vehicle that took them to school. The driver's condition is serious and traffic congestion is recorded.
