In recent discussions on the continuation of rehabilitation procedures in the communities near Israel and the management of the evacuee crisis following the events of October 7, it was clarified that according to the basic treatment outline, the residents' wishes will determine the continuation of their rehabilitation processes and the nature of the assistance systems provided to them by the state.

After the massacre and fierce battles: Israel Hayom commentator Yoav Limor on a tour of the communities near the Gaza Strip

expansion of rooms for large families; Making all hotel areas available to evacuees

"Each community determines for itself. "As of now, those evacuated to hotels remain there until they are notified otherwise, and all hotel areas will be available to them. It is expected that expansion of rooms will be provided for large families, there is a clear understanding that a family of several will not be able to continue living in one room. The matter will be budgeted, and those who are leading are the minister of tourism and his ministry."

There are now eight localities to which residents cannot return, and for some the conditions for moving to a suitable location have been agreed, while for others all the criteria have not yet been agreed. "For Bari, Nahal Oz and Kfar Gaza, further thinking is needed. Regarding Kibbutz Be'eri, for example, due to its size – 400 households – there are quite a few dilemmas," he noted.

Today, the full evacuation map was updated:

Residents of Netiv HaTen and Nirim will remain at the hotel until returning home; Kissufim residents will remain at the hotel, still wishing to preserve the rural option; evacuees from Kibbutz Dune will be evacuated to Revivim; Nir Oz evacuees will be evacuated to an urban area in Carmei Gat and will live in a residential building until they return to their homes; Regarding Kfar Gaza, an effort is being made to concentrate the community in the Shefayim area until the move to the rural area in Kibbutz Ruhama or Beit Kama, which belong to the Bnei Shimon Council in the northern Negev; Nahal Oz residents will move to vineyards or one of the youth villages – a final agreement has not yet been reached; Be'eri evacuees will be transferred to hotels in Jerusalem – or, alternatively, to rural areas in the premises or in the foreground; Kerem Shalom residents are expected to move to Ashalim, but the move has not yet received approvals and agreements with state officials.
