The ZDF series "The Mountain Rescuers" is starting its 15th season. In an interview, Luise Bähr reveals the first details and promises emotional moments.
Ramsau am Dachstein – Since 2009, the ZDF series "The Mountain Rescuers" has been inspiring audiences with impressive rescue operations and strong emotional moments. From November, new episodes of the popular series will flicker across the screens. The 15th season promises to be particularly emotional, as "Mountain Rescue" star Luise Bähr (44) reveals to the "Liebenswert-Magazin".
"It's going to be hot in the season!": Luise Bähr gives an insight into the 15th season
As of today, Thursday (9 November), the 15th season of "The Mountain Rescuers" starts with six new episodes in the ZDF media library or, from 16 November, every Thursday on TV. Luise Bähr, who plays mountain rescuer Katharina Strasser, gives a small foretaste of the upcoming stories of the popular ZDF series in advance: "So I can already reveal this much: It's going to be hot in the season!" says the 44-year-old, who is referring above all to a forest fire that will keep the rescuers in suspense in one of the new episodes.
But even between her role as Katharina Strasser and the relationship with Markus Kofler, (played by Sebastian Ströbel, 46), according to Bähr, it should crackle a bit again. Because in the new episodes, they move closer together again. "Clearly, the two of them are an absolute dream couple! I can already reveal so much that one of them has definitely not forgotten it yet. Katharina is starting the 15th season in good hands, but things are getting moving," Bähr hints.

The new season of "The Mountain Rescuers" also offers viewers an extraordinary guest appearance by model mom Heidi Klum (50). In the episode "Brotherly Love", which will air on November 23, she plays an event manager who has to be rescued after a motorcycle accident.

A recent trailer for the series shows what the new season has to offer. Among other things, the aforementioned forest fire has to be extinguished from the air and Markus gets caught in an avalanche. The mountain rescue helicopter is also in danger due to an imminent crash. In addition, a heavily pregnant woman is about to give birth during the mountain rescue mission.
