Similar to many initiatives aimed at encouraging local agriculture and supporting producers and growers, a north-south farmers market will be held this Friday, November 10, at the Gordon Gallery in Tel Aviv. The gallery has a magical sculpture garden where various products from around the Gaza Strip and northern Israel will be offered for sale, such as: olive oil, honey, wine, fruits and vegetables.

In addition to the local produce, Chef Assaf Granit will prepare a dish based on blue and white products, the proceeds of which will be donated to the headquarters of the families of the abductees and the enveloping pension. The "Cooking" school also donates a variety of cakes and cookies made by the school, the proceeds of which will also be collected for donations.

One of the businesses from around the country that will offer their wares in the market is Kerem Achinoam – a boutique vineyard located at the foot of Mount Hermon and offering a delicate blend of Barnea and Esquel olives. The vineyard was established by the Edri family. A family with deep roots in the Land of Israel – over twelve generations in the Galilee. Love for the land, true Zionism and love of man are what made the dream of establishing the vineyard a reality.

The vineyard is named after Noa, the father of the family, a man of the Galilee, a native of Safed who was a fighter for justice and worked extensively in his life for the benefit of others. His sons followed in his footsteps and founded the Achinoam Association for the Advancement of Equal Opportunities.

The market will also have: Malabihu – the beloved little Malabi stand from Kibbutz Dafna. The Dinars, House of Harif – The Dinars live in Moshav Pri Gan near Gaza and grow hot pepper varieties from all over the world on their farm. In addition to growing peppers, dinars prepare a large selection of spicy products. In them you can find over 150 varieties, seeds, seedlings, hot peppers, products such as: spicy pineapple sauce, hot chili sauce, hot ragweed, choma pepper, hot pickled lemon and more.

You can also find produce from the blossoming Koren orchard in the gallery. The orchard is a family business founded by Michael Koren, a native of Kibbutz Ein Hanatziv, who comes from a rooted agricultural family. The orchard grows elegant etrogs and original citrus fruits, using a unique method and lots of love and care for the fruits. Each fruit receives personal attention, which is clearly evident in the final product - beautiful and incredibly tasty fruits with an intoxicating citrus smell, and fancy etrogs.

There will also be: Gili's challahs, wines from Nahal Gerer Winery, natural wines from Rosa Winery, Jahnun Ayuni, Negohot honey from the Lachish area, Weizmann nurseries from Ein HaBasor and Amichai's flowers.

The market will be held on Friday, November 10, 11, between 2023:9-00:14
at Gordon Gallery, 00 Hamotor Street, Tel Aviv

When you arrive at the market, you will also be impressed by the installation "Home" by artist Sasha Sarver, which is currently on display in the gallery. Sarver created the installation in 2006 and is taking on new meaning in light of the events of October 2023.

The installation reads: "The logic of disaster is always a betrayal of nature. Even a man-made disaster is in a deep sense a betrayal of nature. Like a river that overwhelmed an old, neglected dam, like a dormant volcano, so did war. Something in the existing order has been violated. The logic of disaster is always a betrayal of nature, but nature has never signed an agreement with us. The volcano promised nothing, not even the sea and the winds. It was us who saw in a calm period a signed commitment..."
