New album for Aviv Guedj

One of the most respected artists in Israeli rock releases "Wonderful World Where Are You", his first album in seven years. Guedj has always been known as a particularly powerful creator, and his new album is no different: the songs in it require real depth in order to digest the emotional bomb that accompanies him from start to finish, and thanks to the sharp texts, wonderful arrangements and honest execution in which it is hard not to feel that he brought another seminal work to the world.

The fact that the entire album was written and recorded before the massacre carried out by Hamas in the communities near Gaza and southern Israel (from which Guedj and his family managed to escape) and the outbreak of an iron sword war is even more astonishing, since there are quite a few moments in which he feels like an angry prophet of rage (especially in the chilling "Seven Capricorns"). As such, one simply must not listen to every single word that comes out of his mouth and the blood of his heart.

The muses are not silent

As the only classical orchestra in the south of the country, the Israeli Sinfonietta Be'er Sheva cannot unite and play these days, so it chose to produce a series of short videos in which musical excerpts are combined with explanations about them and personal interviews with some of the musicians about the current situation. Rani Calderon, the orchestra's music director, directs the pieces, chosen by the orchestra's musicians and guest artists, thus allowing listeners a direct connection to the world of classical music.

Ein Dor Museum

The Archaeological Museum in the Lower Galilee is a multicultural, educational, social and ethical center that deals with the connection between man and the landscape, while illuminating the cultural and human experience of the people who lived in the area in the past – and even today.

Here you can find a permanent archaeological exhibition, a contemporary art gallery with temporary exhibitions of contemporary Israeli artists, an ancient olive press for making olive oil and a goren for making flour. At the same time, there are experiential educational activities suitable for the whole family, such as plays, literary meetings, lectures, tours, art and craft courses, and more.

Israel Children's Museum

A variety of trails, activities and adventures can be found in the veteran museum, suitable for every child from the age of two and a half to 120. Each of the different activities and exhibitions has its own unique characteristics, which combines the delivery of an enjoyable and empowering experience with important educational values.

Visitors can take an active part in the various stories, while also enjoying receiving added value. On the occasion of the museum's return to activity, which will operate in an emergency routine and whose visit can be coordinated through its website, it is presenting "The Mysterious Magic Journey", an exhibition about the Beatles suitable for ages 5 and up. Through a look at the beloved band, the exhibition illustrates the power that music has to become an essential tool for emotional insurance, the development of imagination and creativity, as well as how it is a means of communication between people.

Train Theatre Performances Streamed

On the occasion of the security situation, the veteran Jerusalem Puppet Theater is working to create a culture of respite for children and a safe and creative space for young minds who want to express themselves – and has opened the door to online viewing of no less than 13 of its plays, which will be open for viewing indefinitely for the benefit of Israeli children and their parents, and to put a smile on their faces. Among the plays you can watch: "Mustash the Cat", "Toto and Friends", "A Tale of the World", "My Older Sister", "My Hugo", "The Adventurer's Guide", and many more.

The Israeli Museum of Cartoons and Comics

The art of caricature is exposed to the visitors of this secular museum in all its layers, contexts and qualities in order to promote the recognition of the necessity of this medium as a literary genre with real depth. The museum has two particularly intriguing exhibitions: the first, a retrospective by the esteemed illustrator Danny Carman, which presents drawings, sketches, posters and political illustrations alongside his prints and woodcuts.

The second brings together the works that Jonathan Waxman created in tribute to one of the most recognizable cartoonists active in Israel, Zeev Farkas. These were placed side by side, thus offering a historical view of local politics through the lens of the cartoonist.

Admission is free of charge with advance registration on the museum's website.
