Munich – Day Five on the high seas. At "The Perfect Dinner" today, Michi from the Bavarian foothills of the Alps is also trying to score points on the high seas. After being very critical of his teammates in recent days, the expectations of the fans are now all the higher. The fans are all the more surprised when Michael makes a rookie mistake in the kitchen.

For starters, king prawns with homemade fettuccine, spare ribs with risotto as a main course and coffee cherry sorbet with Gorgonzola pear: this is Michael's menu for the final day on the cruise ship. An elaborate menu that certainly has the potential to be the perfect dinner, at least that's what its competitors are sure of. But even though Michael makes a confident impression in the ship's kitchen, TV viewers immediately notice a mistake – an absolute no-go in the professional kitchen.
Whether Michael injured himself during the preparations for his perfect dinner or whether the plaster on his fingers has a completely different reason is not discussed further. However, the fact that he cuts vegetables and peels fruit with plasters on his finger and without gloves is immediately noticed by some fans.
The concept of "The Perfect Dinner"
Since 2006, the cooking documentary has been a permanent fixture at Vox. From Monday to Friday, a total of five amateur chefs will compete for victory. After each dinner, points are awarded on a scale of 0 to 10 so that a lucky winner is chosen at the end. Each candidate can decide for themselves how the points are composed – taste, atmosphere, selection of drinks and mood can be included in the evaluation. What is exciting for spectators and participants alike is that everyone cooks in their own four walls and gives pretty much private insights.
In addition to the "normal" dinner, there are regular special editions with prominent participants. However, "The Celebrity Dinner" will not be shown during the week, but on Sundays at primetime.

"Baee Hansaplast!! I've only just discovered it," writes an X user (formerly Twitter) in disgust. "At least the pavement has a warning color, the blue will stand out in the main course," another TV viewer commented. "Call someone to the office because of the hygiene violations in the Aida kitchen," was a third comment.

"Gloves, gloves please," demands this "The Perfect Dinner" viewer. Michael then notices that the plaster is a hygiene problem, because a little later he is seen wearing gloves in the kitchen. "It's good that he has a glove over the wound on his finger," the net is also relieved.

In the end, it wasn't enough for Michael to win, Alex grabbed it with 37 points. Michael is in third place with 32 points. Speaking of Alex, on day four of "The Perfect Dinner," he served his guests a cheesecake. However, the iconic dessert didn't really go down well with fans of the VOX show.
