The father of an uninvolved schoolchild stopped the suspected shooter in an Offenburg school after the crime. He loudly approached the teenager and persuaded him to put down the firearm, police and prosecutors said on Friday. "Subsequently, the father detained the presumed abandoning perpetrator until the arrival of the police forces, who quickly arrived on the scene."
