They are a family of three living in Saint-Michel-sur-Orge (Essonne), known to the justice system for running a drug trafficking operation in their neighborhood of Bois des Roches. Of the three, two are now behind bars. Aged 34 and 38, they are at the heart of an attempted murder investigation, opened this week by the courts.
On Tuesday evening, they allegedly carried out a punitive expedition against a young man from the same neighborhood of Saint-Michel-sur-Orge. The 18-year-old victim had been shot in the hip with a 9mm caliber bullet before being hurriedly taken to the emergency room of Longjumeau hospital. He has since undergone surgery and survived.

A few hours later, the police were on the trail of the three brothers. They were found at the foot of a building on Rue de Liers. Each heavily armed: two handguns and a rifle. The arrest turned out to be tense, an officer of the BAC (anti-crime brigade) of Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois was threatened by one of the suspects with a long weapon.
After being taken into custody at the premises of the Essonne departmental police, the younger brother, as well as the youngest, were brought before an investigating judge of the Évry judicial court. The first, 38 years old, "is under investigation for attempted murder, aggravated violence and carrying a prohibited weapon," the prosecutor's office said. He is suspected of opening fire on the 18-year-old.
40 kg of cannabis seized during a search
The second is under investigation for violence and carrying a weapon. They have both been convicted in the past and have both been remanded in custody. Investigations are continuing in the form of a judicial investigation. The possibility of a settling of scores, probably linked to drug trafficking, is mentioned.
At the same time, the older brother (41 years old) is the target of another investigation. On Wednesday, November 8, during a search of a home belonging to him, a large seizure of narcotics was made. Approximately 40 kg of cannabis was discovered in this apartment on Canal Avenue in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois.
A couple was living there. The man (30 years old) and his girlfriend (17 years old) were also arrested and taken into custody. The home was allegedly used as a "nanny" apartment for the older brother in question. Here too, the Evry prosecutor's office has opened a judicial investigation for drug trafficking.
