Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Saturday called for the release of Israeli hostages during a summit he held in Riyadh with leaders of Arab countries. Also participating in the summit was Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who met with bin Salman.
During the summit, bin Salman demanded an immediate ceasefire in the fighting in the Gaza Strip. At the same time, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi warned of continued fighting that could lead to a regional conflagration. Arab rulers also condemned Israel and accused it of killing Gazans.
