Different committees, but equal vote. The same evaluation was obtained by the student of the Galileo scientific linguistic high school in Spadafora (Messina) who, with her appeal, had her entire class repeat the oral exam of maturity. The decisions of the two different examination boards overlap: the student passed the baccalaureate with the same grade obtained the first time. Stress is over for the students of the Fifth A who look like the protagonists of 'Immature', but theirs was not a movie. Far from it. As evidenced by the liberating applause of students and parents that accompanied the end of the exam taken for the second time by decision of the Regional Administrative Court, after the Regional School Office of Sicily had identified irregularities, confirmed by the judges. And in the final photo where there are nine of the eleven examinees. The Ministry of Education and Merit had taken an interest in the case which, as Minister Giuseppe Valditara said, "had already done all its checks" and that "it had already dealt with the issue". This morning the last two exams. The student whose family had filed the complaint after the final results of the high school diploma closed: passed, but with a grade that, according to the appeal, did not reflect her school career and because she was disadvantaged compared to the other nine classmates. But the outcome did not change, the vote was the same as in the previous commission. "The oral exam - reconstructs the lawyer of the student's family, the lawyer Maria Chiara Sgrò - had been illegitimately agreed with the internal commissioner: they would have known days in advance the topics of the beginning of the exam and it happened, instead, that only my client was asked by the commission for a topic at the beginning of the exam that was different from what was agreed with the internal commissioner himself". According to the lawyer "the unexpected surprise caused the disorientation of the young woman, which generated a prolonged emotional crisis, compromising the conduct of the oral test, with a consequent seriously insufficient evaluation and inevitable impact on the final grade that had been attributed to her". The lawyer Sgrò also denies the girl "had a mediocre curriculum, as some counterparty falsely stated to the news, having an average presentation of 7.46/10, over 33 credits accrued over the three-year period" and "she had already obtained good grades in the written Italian and English exams". And the delays in repeating the exams, he adds, are due to "the appeal to the TAR presented by the other students". Antonio, spokesman for the other classmates, says that the class "took the exam with honesty, sincerity and calmness." "We thank the Commission for putting us at ease - he added in the presence of the boys' lawyers, the lawyers Caterina Galletta and Andrea Fiore - Galileo is not only the school of appeal. We live with our heads held high and for this reason we need to clarify by telling the truth, which is that we have all been treated in the same way."
