When photos of abductees are taken down in Israel, the police arrest those responsible, but this morning (Saturday), near the studios of Channel 14 in Modi'in, it was the policemen who ordered the pictures of the abductees to be taken down after claiming it was a protest activity to hang them.
It all began when a number of civilians came to hang signs of the abductees in front of the Channel 14 studios in Modi'in. Patrol officers from the Central District were called to the scene and when they arrived, they demanded that the citizens take down the signs, claiming it was a protest activity, and waited for them to do so.

The Israel Police said in response: "The policemen's hearts are with the abductees and their families. The Israel Police embraces, supports and prays for the safety and speedy return of the abductees to their homes. For the avoidance of doubt, we clarify that the judgment of the police officers in the incident was contrary to police guidelines and policy."
