More than a month has passed since Black Sabbath, and not all stories of heroism have been told so far. One of them is that of Captain Shilo Har Even, a company commander in the 13th Battalion of the Golani Brigade, who suffered many casualties. Last month, his family heard about the amazing battle Shiloh waged against hundreds of terrorists who raided the fence.

Shiloh's father, Benny, says: "That Saturday morning, as soon as he saw the raid on the Nahal Oz base, he charged at the terrorists. He jumped into the tiger with six other men and they started driving along the fence. Shiloh stood outside the tiger and waged a fierce battle, he shot the terrorists and ran them over. He and his team killed dozens of terrorists. They drove along the border, repelling and eliminating terrorists. On the radio, he was heard shouting, "Go go, we ran them over!"

During the battle, Shilo was wounded in the hand, but this did not stop him: "He bandaged himself, and when he heard that the Nahal Oz post was being raided, he left the fence and drove there. They broke into the base and the tiger where they were staying came under incessant fire from dozens of terrorists. After an RPG hit, the tiger was disabled. He went out to fight and was killed there. They were a team of seven against hundreds of terrorists, managed to eliminate dozens of them but ended up being killed in battle," his father said in a broken voice.

"The army may have collapsed, but the fighters fought and gave everything. They gave their lives so that others would live. Nearly twenty fighters from his company were killed there," the father continues painfully. "He talked a lot about the need to develop a fighting spirit. He stormed again and again, he didn't think his family would fall apart, and we try to live in his light."
