Wearing a keffiyeh around her neck, Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg spoke at a climate protest event in Amsterdam on Sunday, inviting a Palestinian woman and an Afghan woman to the stage.
After she did so, one audience member took the stage, took the microphone and spoke out against Thunberg, saying: "I came here for a climate protest, not to hear your political views."

Speaking to a crowd of tens of thousands, Thunberg, who stands with the Palestinians, said: "As a climate justice movement, we must listen to the voices of those who are oppressed and those who fight for freedom and justice. Otherwise, there can be no climate justice without international solidarity," she said.
Shahr Zhizard, the woman to whom Thunberg gave the stage, ended her remarks with the Palestinian slogan: From the river to the sea Palestine will be free – the call that has become a trend among circles that criticize Israel and support Palestinians, in most cases without any prior knowledge of the Middle East and the history of the conflict.

The event, which was ostensibly a climate event, turned into a support event for the Palestinians, with dozens of Palestinian flags in the crowd. On stage, holding a microphone and inflamed the audience, Thunberg exclaimed: "No climate justice on occupied land."
