The "Buzaglos" star shared harsh invective sent to her in private messages after posting an allegedly fake video showing an injured Gaza girl and woman • "They threatened to harm my children, but I'm not the one who should be afraid" • And what does she have to say to Israeli Arabs?

Miran Buzaglo posted a video Sunday night on her Instagram account, where she has 474,<> followers, showing a girl and a woman allegedly wounded by an IDF attack in the Gaza Strip and screaming in pain. Buzaglo claimed that the two faked their injuries – and received a barrage of curses from an Arab-Israeli surfer.

"They applied ketchup or makeup to their faces. I know there are casualties in Gaza, but it's clear that what the two who appear in the video I uploaded are playing to the camera," Buzaglo told Israel Hayom. "Suddenly, she (the user who cursed her and was referred to in her story) sent me messages. I was surprised. I have Arab and Druze followers, and they are the ones who send me messages calling on me to report posts and all kinds of videos. They're very mobilized for that, and she surprised me so much."

"The surfer, a resident of Ramla, told me that she loves me very much and that it bothers her to see that I bring up such things about innocent people," the "Buzaglos" star added. "I told her I was very sorry, but right now I stand with my people, I worry about the bereaved families and the abductees. My heart aches for innocent people here in Israel, who were murdered and injured and the traumas they went through. On the other hand, our army asks Gazans to leave so as not to harm them, and even gives them food and water."

That sounds frustrating.
"It's bordering on discouraging. No matter how much we try to do advocacy, how much we publish and present content to the world, and in the end they are much more than us. They feed off all the lies they spread."

I understood from your story that the matter was being dealt with by the police.
"Yes, I spoke with a friend who works in the Shin Bet and with another, a policeman, and I think it should be looked into."

Have you ever encountered other similar harsh reactions?
"Yes, of Arabs from around the world, not of Israeli Arabs. I get a lot of stressful messages. They wrote to me, 'You should leave the house you live in,' 'The big day will come,' 'See what happens to you and your family.' Another Arab woman sent me a message saying, 'You spread hatred, and even your children wish death on Arabs.' She started arguing with me, so I sent her a video of my children, and I asked her, 'Where do they say such a thing?' Of course she told me I was right, and apologized. There are some you can talk to."

Can you keep your cool in these conversations?
"Anyone who comes into a conversation with me, there's no way they won't end the conversation by saying, 'Now I understand.' I always answer very nicely, never cursing or speaking badly."

Is there a message that is important for you to convey these days?
"I think that all Israeli Arabs, without exception, should support Israel even in routine times. Hamas did not differentiate between Arabs and Jews, religious, secular or Bedouin. They murdered them all. All Israeli Arabs must be with us, condemn Hamas and advocate for Israel. It's their time to be with us."

Are you afraid?
"There are times when I'm scared, and my mother tells me, 'Maybe you'll stop a little,' but I won't stop because it's part of my job. Every Israeli should do it. On the other hand, I'm not afraid, because the police, the Shin Bet and all the security forces are very much on it. Anyone who speaks out against us, anyone who speaks out in a way that shows some violence – they immediately deal with them, so I'm not the one who should be afraid."
