On Sunday evening, the Saudi Al-Hadat channel published information on behalf of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights according to which hundreds of fighters trained by Iran and Hezbollah had reached areas close to the Golan Heights.
"The Syrian center confirmed that the 'Nukhba forces' trained by Hezbollah and Iran's Revolutionary Guards have begun to take over areas close to the Golan Heights," the channel said. "The forces include Syrian, Iraqi, Palestinian and other nationals."

The Syrian center is affiliated with the opposition to the Assad regime and is based in Britain. According to an estimate published on the Saudi channel, there are more than 700 fighters. These forces have arrived in the same areas since October in groups. It was also reported that the Assad regime was aware of the passage of these fighters and instructed its forces not to open fire at the Golan Heights.

It should be noted that other foreign sources reported the movement of militia operatives from Iraq to Syria and Lebanon. Since the beginning of the war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, there have been a number of launches from southern Syria towards the Golan Heights, with the IDF responding to the sources of fire and attacking various targets.
According to foreign reports, in some cases airfields and units of Assad's army were attacked, and in others Lebanese Hezbollah infrastructure was attacked. Only on the night between Saturday night and Sunday did the IDF strike again in southern Syria.
At the same time, since the beginning of the war, dozens of attacks have been carried out by pro-Iranian militias against American bases in Iraq and Syria. The US military, for its part, attacked an IRGC facility at least once. Heavy explosions were reported this evening in the city of Bukamal in eastern Syria, known as a militia stronghold. According to Syrian reports, the explosions were caused by an unidentified drone attack.
