Pence made the announcement during the Republican Jewish Coalition summit in Las Vegas. "I came here to say it became clear to me: This is not my time," Pence said.

Pence, who served as Donald Trump's vice president, launched his campaign in hopes of gaining the evangelical vote. However, his campaign failed to get off the ground. RealClearPolitics currently has an average approval rating of just 3.5%.
