Theaterfreunde Machtlfing are back with the acclaimed premiere of "Da Himme wart ned".

Machtlfing/Andechs – With "Da Himme wart ned", the Theaterfreunde Machtlfing are bringing a literally witty comedy to the stage at the Klostergasthof Andechs this year. The premiere audience on Saturday was enthusiastic about the performance.

The relaxed police officer Stelzl (Martin Weikenstorfer) has died and sits white-skinned in the heavenly waiting room and waits for his admission to paradise. Before that, he is supposed to pick up the recently deceased master carpenter Bömmerl (Peter Geiger) on earth and bring him up to heaven. Stelzl doesn't like this seemingly easy job at all, he would much rather be a guardian angel. Dressed in his green uniform jacket with shirt and tie, wearing only white long underpants and felt slippers, he now meets Bömmerl, who is astonished at the sight: "You're dead." Stelzl first has to explain to him that both are now dead and on earth as ghosts.

After the ghost has been clarified, daughter Anna (Sonja Kaindl) comes into the living room. Housekeeper Finni (Stefani Hermanski) joins them, reading a romance novel, and shortly afterwards journeyman carpenter Emmeran (Stefan Geiger). Bömmerl would like to get involved, "explain and tell them so much". He would also like to get involved when his cousin Froschmeier (Norbert Sontheim) and his wife (Martina Burghart) arrive and lose no time in looking for valuables. In doing so, they come across the notification of the lottery company with the reference to the main prize of three million euros. What's missing is the lottery ticket. Of course, Ghost Bömmerl can't just disappear into heaven now – even Stelzl understands that.

What everyone else can't, the hard-drinking Resi Schellenberger (Katja Bandowski) seems to be able to do – she can hear the ghosts and talk to them. It is Katja Bandowski's first theatre performance, which she masters with flying colours and plays her way into the hearts of the audience. In the meantime, of course, she knows that the lottery ticket is in Bömmerl's traditional jacket, which is sometimes supposed to go into the clothing collection, sometimes Emmeran tries it on, and in the end Anna wants to give it to her money-hungry cousin, of all people.

The ghosts and booze thrush Resi, who only believes in the raspberry spirit, have a lot to do until the deceased can go to heaven and everything goes its right way. In front of it, dreams of winning the lottery and cosmetic surgery burst, ghosts haunt the stage rumbling – the game is rewarded with applause from the laughing audience. The ghosts Weikenstorfer and Peter Geiger outdo each other in facial expressions and gestures until the Froschmeiers are finally chased away. Bömmerl would love to go to the beer garden for a beer after this effort, but Stelzl doesn't: "Go further, there Himme wart ned." There are several curtains in the never-ending final applause of the still laughing audience in the sold-out hall of the Klostergasthof, the main stage of the Theatre Friends.

Further performances will take place on November 16, 17 and 18 at 20 p.m., on November 19 with a three-course menu from 18 p.m., on November 22, 24 and 25 at 20 p.m. and on November 26 from 18 p.m. More information on www.theaterfreunde-machtlfing.de on the Internet.
