Hundreds of residents of the envelope, bereaved families and opponents of the government demonstrated Tuesday evening near the Knesset to demand that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu resign immediately.

The demonstrators, handing out T-shirts with the print "Impeachment Now," erected a large sign that read: "Bibi is guilty." They carried signs reading: "Bibi = Peres to Hamas, every moment Bibi does not resign, the damage accumulates," "Netanyahu is guilty, we will not forget and we will not forgive," alongside signs in English: "Remove Bibi Save Israel," "Where are you Red Cross." They chanted time and time again: "Go, Go, Go," "Impeachment Now," and "Guilty."

Yotam Kipnis from Kibbutz Be'eri, who was orphaned by both his parents in the October 7 disaster: "I heard my mother describe the shooting when they were in the safe room and we haven't spoken since. My parents supported the protest against the government. The protest was first and foremost about the security of the envelope. They abandoned us. Netanyahu abandoned the Negev for years. We were the victims of conflict management policies. This nightmare government continues to abandon us. It's an omission, 64 seats of miserable people who don't care about human life. They sacrificed the Negev on the altar of the Temple Mount and we will not forgive them for that."

Yael Alon, who lost her son in the October 7 disaster: "Netanyahu is a divisive figure. Netanyahu and the government headed by him should resign immediately." Hadas Calderon, whose two children were abducted by Hamas to Gaza: "There is a sense of a state sacrificing its children. My family fell apart. Five members of my family were kidnapped. I am from Kibbutz Nir Oz. We are refugees in our country. I'm a mother who wants her kids home. These children have been promiscuous for 40 days. Who is the mother and father of this country? I'm speaking out of Mom's crazy concern."

"My children were kidnapped out of bed. Now they are thrown in the tunnel without seeing sunlight or sky. The war taking place within me is an atrocity. They don't know anything just like I do. I beg the world - save my children. Do anything. Bring them home. Don't sacrifice our children. Don't put them back in the closet. Enough of this pain. Hope we hear good news soon. Be strong."
