As part of a large-scale operation of raids on government institutions of the Hamas terrorist organization, fighters from the 13th Battalion of the Golani Brigade raided the building of the governor's residence in Gaza, which serves as a Hamas terrorist facility and contains military, police, intelligence and headquarters of the terrorist organization.

During a search of the building, the fighters found battalion equipment belonging to a battalion that took part in the battles in the envelope on the morning of 7 October. The battalion equipment taken from IDF outposts included weapons, documents and battalion equipment belonging to the soldiers of the 10th Battalion. The equipment will be transferred to our territory and examined by IDF officials. The IDF notes that finding the equipment constitutes significant closure for the battalion's fighters and commanders.
These days, fighters of Battalion 13 are operating deep inside the Gaza Strip, fighting fierce battles, destroying terrorist infrastructure and eliminating terrorists, some of whom participated in the massacre carried out by the Hamas terrorist organization on 7 October.
