The number of passengers at Ben Gurion Airport has declined significantly since the beginning of the war. The total number of passengers today stands at only about 11,6, of whom about 500,<> return to Israel. The destinations to which Israelis fly the most during this period are the United States, Greece and Cyprus, while Italy and France also have between two and three flights a day. Destinations where demand is rising during this period are Warsaw, Budapest and Prague, where many Israelis say they feel safe. In Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland, support for Israel is felt, both on the streets and at the decision-making levels.

Currently, there are a few foreign airlines operating flights to and from Israel. Etihad, Hainan, Fly Dubai, Azimut, Uzbekistan Airways and Red Wings are the bulk of the foreign airlines operating at Ben Gurion Airport, while El Al, Arkia and Israir continue to operate non-stop, but reduce the number of destinations to which they fly. El Al and Israir transferred a small portion of their planes to Ramon Airport about two weeks ago, so Israeli airlines are not operating their entire fleet at this time.
