In principle, the Israeli military goes to the front without a mobile phone. But images of the fighting in Gaza are circulating on the internet. The most recent ones are taking on the appearance of victory. On Monday night, Palestinians sheltering in the southern Gaza Strip shared a photo taken inside the Palestinian parliament building in Gaza City. It shows soldiers posing. Two Israeli flags are unfurled. Another, yellow and green, indicates that they are soldiers of the Golani Brigade, an infantry unit whose 70 members fell on October 7, during the Hamas terror attack on Israel, in which 1300,239 people were killed and <> taken hostage.
Another photo shows an Israeli soldier sitting in an armchair in a field of ruins. At her feet, on a low table, is a plate of cupcakes and a cup. Behind it, the façade of a house covered in graffiti: a large Star of David has been emblazoned with graffiti.
