Corporal Noa Marciano's funeral will take place today (Friday) at 12:00. She was pronounced dead on Tuesday, a day after Hamas released a video of her in captivity.
As the IDF Spokesperson left for publication, Noa's body was returned to Israel. A few days ago, Hamas released a video showing Noa, a 19-year-old spotter from Modi'in, from captivity in Gaza, after which the IDF announced that she was not alive. Focused and accurate information from the Shin Bet led the forces on the ground to locate her body in a building near the hospital.
An IDF spokesperson said: "The IDF participates in the family's grief and will continue to accompany it. Our national mission is to locate the missing and bring the abductees home. The IDF works closely and in full coordination with the relevant national and security bodies in order to meet these missions, and we will not relent until they are completed."
