The body of an IDF soldier, Corporal Noa Marciano, was rescued by an IDF force from the 603rd Battalion of the 7th Brigade, from a building near Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory.

Following an identification process carried out by military medical and rabbinical officials, IDF representatives on Thursday night informed the family of Noa, an IDF martyr abducted by Hamas on October 7, that her body had been rescued and returned to Israeli territory.

The IDF said: "The national mission before our eyes is locating the missing and bringing the abductees home. The IDF works closely and in full coordination with the relevant national and security bodies in order to meet these missions, and we will not relent until they are completed."

Just yesterday, Noa's mother, Adi, cried out her pain over the loss of her home and said, "I don't have a grave to cry on," and said of her daughter: "It's hard to talk about her in the past tense, she was a child of light and love with kind eyes that provide a story of giving and a never-ending smile.

"She was an amazing daughter who made us happy, a girl of books and music with a big heart who sees only the good in people. She was a big sister who took care of her siblings, was always patient and listened to all her grandparents' stories."
