A dead 65-year-old woman was discovered in an annex of the hospital, brought to Israel and identified, Israel's military said. The woman was kidnapped from the border town of Beeri on October 7 during the devastating Hamas massacre in Israel. Weapons such as submachine guns and bazookas were also found in the building.
In the morning, the military said another body had been recovered near the largest hospital in the city of Gaza. The remains of the kidnapped 19-year-old soldier were found in a building next to the Shifa clinic. Her body was identified by experts in Israel. A cause of death was not initially disclosed.
During their operation in the largest clinic in the coastal strip, the Israel Defense Forces also found command and control centers, according to their own statements. What exactly is meant by this was left open by a military representative. Weapons, computers and military equipment were also found there.
It remained unclear whether one of the centers discovered was also the command center of the Palestinian Islamist organization suspected by the army under the hospital. Hamas denies the existence of such a base under the clinic.

Military: Dead in shooting in West Bank
In an attack at an Israeli military barrage south of Jerusalem, one soldier and three attackers were killed, according to military sources. Military spokesman Daniel Hagari confirmed earlier information from police and Israeli media that claimed to have been rescued.
