Fighters of the 401st Brigade and the Nahal Brigade fought against terrorists on the outskirts of Jabaliya, using tanks and with the help of remotely manned aircraft fire. In addition, the fighters located and destroyed rocket launchers in the area.

In addition, fighters of the 551st Brigade, together with special forces, operated north of Jabaliya in order to open the route to the division forces and thwart terrorist targets in the area. During the operation, the fighters eliminated terrorists with air support, seized enemy weapons in a number of locations, including homes and children's rooms, and destroyed tunnel shafts.

Prior to the ground operation in Jabaliya, artillery forces of 215 and IAF aircraft prepared the area for fighting in the Jabaliya area. The forces attacked terrorist targets with the support of fighter planes and remotely manned aircraft. Among the targets were three underground shafts on the outskirts of Jabaliya where terrorists were found.
