The IDF will use the time to learn from everything that has happened so far professionally and operationally. In addition, the truce will enable the increase in the fitness of the fighters and tools.

Preventing ascension to the north, and destroying a tunnel

In the morning, the fighters on the ground prevented Gaza residents from returning to the north and repelled them on their way. However, the humanitarian corridor will continue as usual, and Gaza residents who have not yet done so will be able to move south.

The Shifa operation ended about 50 minutes before the temporary ceasefire began, and the IDF blew up the Hamas tunnel inside and outside the hospital.

The soldiers acted cautiously so that there would be no significant damage to the hospital, and not a single bullet was fired during the entire operation at Shifa. Terrorists who were there were captured by the forces, and the tunnel was destroyed.
