A little more than two years ago, the staff of the hospital of Dourdan (Essonne) demonstrated against the announced relocation of their paediatric department to Étampes. A fight that has been effective: not only has the service remained, but on Saturday 25 November, Agnès Firmin Le Bodo, Minister Delegate for Territorial Organisation and Health Professions, came to lay the first stone of the future emergency department, which will be completely renovated and expanded. And other large-scale works have been announced to diversify the care offered by the Sud-Essonne Hospital Center (CHSE).
