Outgoing President Alberto Fernandez postponed his trip to the Vatican, where he was scheduled to have a private audience with Pope Francis, official sources confirmed to Clarín. In addition, it was confirmed that after leaving the position he will move to Spain, where he has several offers to teach at universities.
Fernandez had planned to see Francis next week, in his last days in power, but he must continue to carry out the tasks demanded by the transition that will culminate with the inauguration of Javier Milei on December 10.
According to official information, the visit to the Supreme Pontiff will be rescheduled for when he is already installed in Spain after leaving the government on December 10.
