The bodies of four people have been recovered after a small plane crashed in western Austria, Austrian police said on Saturday.
The plane crashed in the middle of the day near Gruenau im Almtal in Upper Austria, she said.
A large-scale search operation had been launched after aircraft debris was found in a snow-covered mountainous area. The four victims have not yet been identified.
