Like a clap of thunder. The fragile agreement reached between Israel and Hamas almost ended even before the second round of hostage releases on Saturday. For many hours, the process was interrupted by Hamas, raising fears that the exchange between Israelis and Palestinians would fail and even break the truce agreed on Wednesday. Then the threat vanished, as quickly as it had appeared, in the early evening, thanks to mediation led by several countries including Qatar.
