A few hours before the fourth list was supposed to be implemented, there are difficulties Monday morning in formulating the list of abductees who will be released.
Earlier, the Wall Street Journal reported that Israel had received a list of 11 abductees who were supposed to be released. However, the families were not updated.
Later, the Prime Minister's Office issued an announcement on behalf of the Commissioner of Abductees and Missing Persons: Discussions are underway on a list that was received during the night and is currently being examined in Israel. We will add information when possible."
The fourth phase is supposed to be the last in the deal, although Hamas has officially announced its desire to extend the outline in exchange for additional days of respite. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced yesterday that he welcomes an outline according to which at least 10 abductees will be released for each day of respite.
