The Israel-Canada hotel chain is expanding and reaching Jerusalem. The chain, owned by Barak Rosen, Assi Tuchmayer and Reuven Elkes, signed a management and lease agreement with the Levy family, owners of the Shalom Jerusalem Hotel for a period of 20 years, which will begin at the end of the war.
The hotel that will be relaunched under the Israel-Canada branding is located in the Ein Kerem neighborhood, one of the most visited and beautiful in Jerusalem, about a 10-minute drive from the city center. Its high position allows for a spectacular view of the city.
The hotel has 288 rooms that will be renovated over the next two years at a cost of NIS 20 million, including the construction of 4 luxurious suites in addition to the existing guest rooms, which include a private pool for each of the suites overlooking the entire city of Jerusalem.

Now the Israel Canada network is deployed in all tourist sites in Israel. The hotel has tremendous potential and I am sure that after the renovation and the addition of the suites, it will host new audiences in addition to the existing ones and it will be one of the leading hotels in Jerusalem. This is the third hotel we have added to the chain's ranks over the past year, during which we have increased our number of rooms by about 500 rooms."
Israel-Canada Hotels' revenues jumped by about 3% in the first three quarters of 2023 to NIS 24 million compared with NIS 232 million in the same period last year. The chain has 188 hotels in Israel and another 11 hotels in Greece, and will soon begin construction of the Midtown Jerusalem Hotel in Mahane Yehuda, which is expected to open in early 3.
