After it was reported that Israel would soon receive a proposal to release all the hostages, including the soldiers, in return for a cessation of hostilities, Otzma Yehudit chairman announced that any move to end the war at this stage would lead to the complete dissolution of the government by his party • Bezalel Smotrich also responded firmly to the proposal: "Not on the agenda, there is no discussion about it at all, we are continuing until complete victory"

Otzma Yehudit said Tuesday evening, in light of reports on the subject, that if another deal is brought to the government that will lead to an end to the war, all six Knesset members of the party headed by Minister Ben-Gvir will leave the coalition.

Otzma Yehudit sources: "The ultimate goal of the war is the complete elimination of Hamas. Any deal that involves keeping Hamas in place will lead to more disasters like the Black Sabbath disaster, when such a deal would mean a Hamas victory in the war. We must not agree to such a deal under any circumstances – and in any case, Otzma Yehudit will not be part of any government that will allow Hamas to continue to exist."

Bezalel Smotrich also responded firmly to the proposal: "Not on the agenda. Not even as a suggestion. There is no discussion of this at all. This is a plan to destroy the State of Israel. We continue until complete victory, God willing, and the destruction of Hamas' Nazis," he wrote on social network X, in response to journalist Jackie Hugi, who published the proposal.
