The 4-year-old girl Abigail Idan from the village of Gaza, who was held captive by Hamas, was released today (Tuesday) from Schneider Hospital. She will stay with her aunt, the sister of mother Smadar, who was murdered. Father Roy was also murdered. Abigail fled to the neighbor's house and was kidnapped.

"Her release is very gratifying," said her uncle Amit Idan. "It took a lot of weight off our hearts, but on the other hand it's not a perfect joy. We are still after a family tragedy. Abigail: It's a point to rejoice, but we're still hurting. Her condition is fine overall physically. There is much more ahead of the family to restore the situation to the way it was before, if at all."

Her sister and older brothers, Amalia and Michael, hid in the closet for hours. Today Abigail finally met them. "She met her brothers today," the uncle said. "The meeting was very joyful and exciting for everyone."
