"I'm a human being and I make mistakes": Supermodel Gigi Hadid, who since the October 7 massacre continues to defend Palestinians without fact-checking, dared to compare convicted Palestinian terrorists released from Israeli prisons to children kidnapped and released from Hamas captivity, today (Tuesday) comes the apology.

"I shared something that I hadn't looked into or thought through. I wanted to show the ways in which international law is being undermined by the Israeli government. In this case, I tried to emphasize how Palestinian children arrested by the IDF often do not have the same rights as an Israeli child accused of the same crime. Unfortunately, I used the wrong example to point this out and I'm sorry for that. Attacking anyone, including Jews of course, is never right. Taking innocent people hostage is never wrong. Hurting someone because they're Jewish is never okay. Wanting freedom and humane treatment of Palestinians and also wanting security for the Jewish people can be important to that person – myself included.

"I understand that with the power of my platform comes tremendous responsibility. I'm a human being and I make mistakes. But I'm also responsible for those mistakes. I am not behind spreading misinformation. I will continue to pray for the safe return of all the hostages and for peace and security for the people of Gaza and Israel."

Quite a few organizations around the world attacked Hadid for distributing a story defending terrorist Ahmed Manasra, who in 2015 went out with his cousin to stab Jews, an attack that was even documented by cameras. Bar Refaeli also came out directly attacking Hadid and blaming her for her mistake.
