After 53 days of being listed as missing, Ravid Katz's family was informed on Tuesday that his body had been identified and he was murdered by Hamas terrorists who infiltrated into Israel on October <>.
Katz, 51, a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz, is the brother of Doron Katz-Asher, who was released in the first round together with her two daughters in the deal of abductees from Hamas captivity.
Doron's sister Yoni Asher's husband separated: "Ravid was an educator, a man of the beautiful Land of Israel, an amazing father to Shahar, Shira and little Alma only six months old, and Revital's partner. We will remember you forever."
Adir is survived by three children, one of whom is only six months old.
