Hamas today freed ten women it had kidnapped on October 7 along with dozens of other Israelis.

The youngest is 17-year-old Mia Leimberg, an Argentine-born student who works in a bookstore and was released with her mother, Gabriela, 59, who emigrated from Argentina in the 1990s and lives in Jerusalem, where she runs a day center for people with autism. She and her family have a Shih Tzu dog named Bella, who was kidnapped and released along with them, the hostage families forum said.

The oldest is 84-year-old Ditza Heiman. She was one of the founders of Kibbutz Nir Oz: she served in the Nahal group. Since her husband's death, she has lived alone and adopted a cat.

Then there's 36-year-old Rimon Kirsht, who volunteers at Maslan, the support center for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in the Negev. Rimon is married to Yagev, who was kidnapped with her on October 7 and is still a Hamas prisoner.

She worked as a kindergarten teacher. She is retired but continues to work with at-risk seniors and families. She was kidnapped along with her partner, Luis, and brother, Fernando, who are still in Gaza. Sister Gabriela and her niece Mia were also released today.

They are joined by Ofelia Feler de Roitman, 77, of Kibbutz Nir Oz, who has three children and nine grandchildren. He immigrated to Israel from Argentina in 1985. She was an educator for 20 years and for five years she was a director of Jewish schools in Argentina.

Tamar Metzger, a 78-year-old grandmother, has limited mobility and spends a lot of time on the balcony of her small home.

She was kidnapped along with her husband Yoram, who is still a Hamas prisoner.

Noralin "Nataly" Abadilla, 60 years old, lost her partner, Gideon, to the assassination of Hamas terrorists on October 7.

Ada Sagi, 75 years old in captivity, has lived on Kibbutz Nir Oz since she was born, has three children and six grandchildren. He teaches Hebrew and Arabic.

Finally, Meirav Tal, who is 53 years old and lives in Rishon LeZion. On October 7, she was visiting Yair, her partner, at Kibbutz Nir Oz, and was abducted along with him and Yair's two sons, Yagil and Or, aged 12 and 16, who were released on Monday. Yair remains a Hamas prisoner.
