Stav Katzin released a video Tuesday night in which she read a letter she wrote to her father, Yitzhak Katzin, z"l, who was killed in an unfortunate accident in South Africa. With a broken heart, she shared with her many followers on her Instagram account the terrible day she received the bitter news of his death, and the feelings that have accompanied her since that time.

"Seven years since the passing of my father Isaac Officer Ben Fanny," wrote an officer in a post dedicated to her father. "My dear father, the day God decided to take you away from me, something in my heart went out. You were killed in a paragliding accident in South Africa. It took us a week to bring your body to Israel. Time does not heal and longing increases from year to year. Dad, I miss you."
To the written words, an officer attached a video in which she is documented standing on her father's grave and reading from a page. "Dear father, seven years ago today, the sun suddenly set in the middle of the day and suddenly night fell and the stars began to cry. In one moment that will never be forgotten, we received the news that from now on you are an angel, but even though your body is no longer with us, your soul is always with us here. The truth is that she never left. The body can be lost, but the spirit is eternal.

"And not only is the spirit eternal, but also the forces you have given me that accompany me in every situation and give me the ability to continue to see the light even if everything around me seems dark. The forces that remind me that no matter what, I'm never alone and that you look at me from the sidelines, like a guardian angel. And not only am I not alone, but from the moment you leave, I feel you with me more than ever, every moment and everywhere," she concluded, attaching a photo of the two.
