"The murderers of Hamas called out the name of God and slaughtered, murdered, trampled and slaughtered the sons of God. These are vile murderers and infidels," is how Lior Shahar, head of the Interior Ministry's Special Functions Administration, described what he experienced during the visit of dozens of clerics initiated by the Interior Ministry to the village of Gaza on Wednesday.

As stated, the tour was initiated by the Special Functions Administration of the Ministry of the Interior through the Religious Communities Division of the Ministry and in cooperation with the Rabbinical Council, the Druze Religious Council, the Church Establishment in Israel and the Israel Police, and included clerics from all corners of the population: Druze, Muslims, Christians, Jews and Bedouins, as part of strengthening tolerance and brotherhood between religions.

During the tour, the clerics were exposed to the magnitude of the disaster and the horrors experienced by the residents of Kfar Gaza, the terrible massacre of women, children and the elderly, burned houses, terrible scenes that cannot be beared.

Those present delivered a joint prayer in Hebrew, Arabic, Greek and more - the text of the prayer was written eight years ago during a visit by religious leaders to the extermination camps in Poland.

Lior Shahar, Head of the Special Functions Administration at the Ministry of the Interior: "All religions loathe, condemn and reject with disgust the murders and atrocities that took place on October 7. Criminal acts of infidels - murderers of Hamas. We are here to show the beautiful face of religions - religion is beautiful and compassionate. We also came here to call for the release of the abductees, and to pray for the safety of the soldiers who are fighting evil. In a common prayer for peace among all religions."

Iyad Sarhan, Director of the Testimony Division - Director of Special Duties at the Ministry of the Interior: "We of all faiths gathered here to pray together for the return of the abductees, for the safety of IDF soldiers and for the elevation of the souls of the murdered. We say unanimously to the whole world and condemn the criminal massacre, our war against the criminal enemy from the murderers of Hamas-ISIS is common to members of all religions."

Sheikh Khaldi Diaa of the Al-Nur Shfar'am Mosque said: "We came here, members of all religions, to pray and call for the return of the abductees, for the soul of the murdered and for the soldiers' safety.
This is a religious and moral value. The leaders of all religions condemn the murderous and despicable act committed on this land. Hamas's use of religion is diametrically opposed to the Spirit of God. This is not the way of religion, this is the way of criminal murderers."
