Idan Amedi was recruited and called upon to defend the homeland in an iron sword war like many other musicians and celebrities. On Tuesday, he posted a story on his Instagram page against the background of a photo in which he looks at the destruction left behind by the terrorists in Kibbutz Kfar Azza.
Amidi wrote: "I don't get to share too much these days. Yesterday, I arrived in the village of Gaza and the sights are incomprehensible. A talented photographer who was there to document the prime minister's visit caught me staring at one of the burned houses in the youth neighborhood. An entire generation of our loved ones who were slaughtered. We will not stop the fighting. I'm willing not to perform or sing for a year. It is forbidden to abandon the citizens of the south and north again.

"Anything that is not the elimination of Hamas in Gaza and the root cause of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon is an immediate danger to our children. Our 'why' in this war is strong and clear. May the memory of our loved ones be blessed."

We recently published here footage of Idan fighting in the Gaza Strip in a video in which he can be seen talking on the radio and saying: "In memory of all the victims, our brothers and sisters who were massacred on October 7 and in memory of our friends and brothers in arms, Alexei Shmaklov and Dror Alton z"l, fighters in the patrol teams, fighters and officers in the SWAT teams, God forbid and we will avenge their blood. The people of Israel are alive and here forever." He then counts down and fires the shell that blows up a building in Gaza.
