Continuing to contribute to Israel overseas: Last night (Tuesday), one of the largest and most moving fundraising events for the victims of the October 7 massacre took place in Manhattan. The person who of course boarded a plane to New York to help with the donations was singer Omer Adam, who performed at the event and alongside him, of course, partner Yael Shalabia.

In the audience were the guest of honor, New York Mayor Eric Adams, as well as special guests who came directly from Israel, including Haim Etgar, Lior Raz, Gilad Erdan, who also spoke, Adva Dadon, Yadin Gelman, Assi Ezer, Rotem Sela, Shlomit Malka, Dr. Zuzovsky and other guests who helped raise $10 million to be donated directly to the families of the victims.

On the stage of an event, they went up to tell their story of the massacre: Yadin Gelman, who was wounded in clashes in Kibbutz Be'eri, alongside Anat Meir, the wife of David Meir, who fell in battle, and Sabine Ta'asa together with her two sons. Sabine lost her husband Gil and her son Or in the massacre in Netiv Ha'ahara.
