According to the outline, local authorities wishing to accelerate the connection of shelters in their area to the Internet and broadcasting will be able to request assistance of NIS 1,700 for a public shelter and up to NIS 950,000 in total for a local authority.
Support is offered for networking public shelters with a good level of competence or higher, in local authorities within 40 kilometers of Israel's northern border or the Gaza border, and in Judea and Samaria communities. Connecting the shelters will enable those staying in them to receive real-time alerts, work and distance learning, and leisure activities.
